TJ Whitneys - Safety Statement

In light of the recent concerns with Made in China toys, we understand the concern of consumers.

Traditional Toys is in compliance with both ASTM (American) and the more stringent EN (European) safety testing measurements. Our wooden toys are tested on an ongoing production run, by production run basis.

Our carded toys and games are made from recycled paper product exclusive of new surface (cover) papers.

Our stretch canvas is made with only natural 100% cotton canvas and wood products.

We go further and work with only a limited number of companies and do not outsource.

We are in contact with our manufacturers constantly, have visited and are more than pleased with their staffing, work environment and safety practices.

T.J. Whitneys' Traditional Toys has been awarded the "Outstanding Manufacturer of Excellence" award from the Institute of Childhood Resources and individual awards from Parent Magazine, Today's Parent, Child Magazine, Dr. Toy and Creative Child Magazine for each of our toys and games.
