Q.  What are your toys made of?

A.  We use a renewable, harvest grown, hardwood called “basswood” (I suggest creating a post on the blog with more specifics on thia as this is a very hot topic at this point and we need to maximize this credibility factor) for our wooden toys, our games, nesting blocks and art cards are all carded paper products. Our toys are non-toxic play-safe and pass both ASTM and the more strict EN safety standards testing.

Q.  Where are these toys and gifts designed and where does the inspiration come from?

A.  The toys are all designed by, entrepreneur Janice Prittie, in collaboration with a wonderful graphic artist here in Victoria B.C. Ideas come from grandparents old toy boxes and book shelves all over the world! These toys are created through a great love for the “golden age” of art, books and toys that existed between the turn of the century through the 1940’s. We have to say it was a much more gentile and innocent time!

Q.  Will you do custom work?
